Just in case you had forgotten what happened the time there was a ‘Battle of the Blues’ back in December, 2019, we thought we’d give your memory a gentle nudge.
Coreen Grant turned into a match winner for Cambridge in the women’s match as she danced her way to the line for a later try that won the game 8-5 for the Light Blues. The now Scottish international centre had been a loser at Twickenham earlier in the year with her former university, Durham, and didn’t want to go down again.
Another deadly Cambridge three-quarter, this time Fergus Jemphrey, was the two-try hero for his side in the men’s match as it became a Light Blue double for only the fourth time in history (2002, 2009, 2017, 2019).
Jemphrey’s brace helped Cambridge hang on to ‘The Rhino Trophy’ in a game that ended in a convincing 15-0 victory for the reigning champions in a deluge.
Here is everything you need to know from last time out.
